mark® No-Hub Cast Iron Drainage system comprises cast iron pipes, fittings, couplings and other accessories.

mark® No-Hub Cast Iron Drainage system, pipes, fittings and couplings for above ground applications. The quality of material and method of manufacture have been found satisfactory.

All the mark® No-Hub Cast Iron Drainage system, pipes and fittings are complied to the requirements of CISPI Standard 301 or ASTM A-888. The couplings are complied to CISPI 310.

All pipes used in this system are using the centrifugal casting process.

The pipes and fittings are connected with couplings. The couplings consist of a stainless steel shield, clamp assembly and an elastomeric sealing sleeve conforming to the requirements of ASTM C564.

Dimensions and tolerances (in inches) of spigots and barrels for hubless pipe and fittings.

* Pipe may be with or without a spigot bead.

mark® pipes and fittings are coated externally and internally with a bitumen coating or epoxy coating.

Characteristics of mark® Pipework System:-
Durability exceeding expected life of the building.
Resistance to corrosion from fluids and gases commonly found in a plumbing drainage system.
Noncombustible and does not contribute to the spreading of flames.
Resistance to abrasion.
Ability to withstand temperature extremes.
Ability to withstand traffic and trench loads.
Low coefficient of expansion / contraction.
Joints which resist infiltration and exfiltration.
Strength and rigidity.
Resistance to noise transmission.

Suggested Installation:-
According to most authorities and plumbing codes, it is sufficient to support horizontal pipe at each joint, i.e. 5' pipe should be supported at five foot intervals, 10' in length may be supported at ten foot intervals. Supports should be adequate to maintain alignment and prevent sagging and should be placed within eighteen inches of the joint.

mark® Couplings :

The mark® stainless steel coupling for use above ground has a collar of stainless steel to CISPI 310 and has a neoprene sleeve to ASTM C564.

A neoprene sealing sleeve surrended by stainless steel shield.

Material Specifications:-
Band - Type 301 AISI stainless steel - Minimum tensile 165,000 PSI
Screw Housing - Type 301 AISI stainless steel
Screw - Type 305 AISI stainless steel - 5/16 Hex head / Shoulder for 1.1/2" - 10"
Shield - Type 301 AISI stainless steel
